Day 2! Busy busy busy.
Can't even believe how different the midwest is. Still being constantly amazed by that. I had forgotten it was *this* different than back home. It's even way different from the west coast...not to mention what I remember of the east coast. It's definetly like going to another country. ...Another really weird country ^^; It's nice though. It's definetly not bad different. Just really interesting to see how region effects culture that much.
But onto the fun stuff! Our first day of our crazy theme park adventure! Six Flags in Chicago was really fun ^^. Getting to go on a weekday before most of the schools got out really helped things go a lot more easily. Short lines, lots of big coasters...lots of very funny things to talk about. Dolphin has really learned a lot about how they work from National Geographic and those people, so he tells me about it, and the physics and the math and the planning behind these huge operations...this one coaster alone could push through just over 1000 people in an hour. 3 trains, 73mph, 200 and some odd feet...it was amazing. Lots of good stuff. Makes big expectations for the rest of the trip!
While I doubt i'll end up writing something *every* day...(just look at the archives >< ) i'll at least try. If more for my record than anything =P
