Katie died today. Dad was pretty broken up about it...kidney failure and stuff. She had been unhealthy for awhile, so she was in the animal hospital at the time, but...it dosn't make it any better. And so another part of my childhood follows it's natural course.
I started crying when mom told me. I knew it had to happen eventually, but...it didn't have to be today, did it? But of course, Death waits for no one. i still haven't quite gotten it yet...that she's gone. when i come home i still expect her to be around. i guess i'll get it in a few days and...well, it'll suck. for right now, i just miss her.
I think that's enough for today. School is good, Akiko, my Japanese exchange student is having a blast...life isn't that bad. Let's just take away some of the stress of junior year, eh? lol.
